A little bit about myself and my journey into the Bear World.

I Live in the North East of England, work full time and love all things beary.

My Son Joe has spread his wings and is making a career within the Golfing Profession.

My first Bear picked me to take her home about 7 years ago.
Her little face spoke to me, the detail of this tiny creation was out of this world, Amazing and so Perfect.
She was made by the very talented Bear Artist Anita Weller of Puzzle Bears.

My journey into the Bear World had begun.

It was not long after this that a piece of Mohair and pattern found it's way into my home and my First little Bear was made.
Not so perfect but he was mine and I loved him.

I became hooked.

Practice makes perfect! as they say and that's what I did. Practice, practice and practice and then more Bears later, I took the next step, to design a Bear of my own. After many attemps and what seemed to be a mountain of heads, limbs and bodies later, I was happy and Dylan was born.

I started to make Bears for family and friends and then took the plunge and booked my first local craft fair.
Nerves... both mine and the Bears.... I sold my First Bear and was invited to attend The Gateshead Flower Festival. I was on a high for weeks.
The Festival was a huge sucess and I was asked to submit a select of my work to The Society of Northumbrian Craftmen to which I am now a member.
I attend several events throughtout the year with the Society and have a great time with all the other MAD Talented Crafters.
